Poet Tong Yali and sound artist Wang Yujun take the anthology Borderland’s Dawn (published by fembooks publishing house) as their theme to generate poetry sound and further recreations. The subject contains border thinking, gender crossing, dreams and daily
life. They attempt to go beyond the genre of artistic works and explore the experimental aesthetics of poetry and sound, allowing audiences to mesmerize in a poetic space and walk into the borderland of poetry sound.

Prelude of Borderland’s Dawn: a small small poetry-sound performance
Introduction: This event is a small poetry-sound performance before the opening of “Borderland’s Dawn: A Poetry-Sound-Exhibition and Performances” at THAV. The sound artist Wang Yujun and the poet Tong Yali will give a small concert at
the Small Small Book Shop and share their poetry sound.

Introduction: Prologue! This poetry-sound performance takes place in a secret place at THAV is the opening event of „Borderland’s Dawn: A Poetry-Sound-Exhibition“, the artistic re/creation while Tong Yali and Wang Yujun’s artist-in-residency.
The themes of today’s performance are the first two parts of Tong Yali’s poetry anthology Borderland’s Dawn: “between water and land” and “her city”.

The themes of today’s performance are the last two parts of Tong Yali’s poetry anthology Borderland’s Dawn: “my soul is nude beyond the wall” and “a withered wait”.
